VINTAGE 1988 FENDER USA ‘57 RI STRATOCASTER!!! “NEAR MINT CONDITION” “ALMOST VINTAGE” Up for auction is an Extremely Clean, 1988 USA Made Fender Stratocaster ’57 re-issue finished in a beautiful 2 tone Tobacco Burst, Maple Neck with Skunk Stipe, Serial Number V039XXX. This gorgeous guitar is 100% Original, and in Excellent Condition and comes delivered to you in a Fender Tweed Case as pictured. The body is in near perfect condition with hardly a scratch, dents or dings; you would have to look pretty hard to notice any. The neck is smooth with only minor wear and frets appear all original with plenty of life left in them. The back of the neck is super smooth and glossy showing the quality unlike the necks made today. The electronics are all original and clean with no broken solder points and are all correct for this period. Pots date R1378837 and the neck December 1988. All in all, a very clean, well looked after guitar which is an excellent example of this vintage and one certainly to keep for the future. This guitar screams in the right hands with vintage tones which replicate true and authentic quality of the past and is better than any Custom Shop guitar I have owned. This guitar is for the collector of the future and you better get it while they are still affordable as they keep skyrocketing in price.
