This instrument is a great all-around horn...wonderful for solo, chamber ensemble & large ensemble playing. It is every bit as good as the pro's say it is! I am selling it so I can downsize to a 3/4 size Yamaha. Yes...I bit off more than I could chew! (I'm near 40 and all of 5'4" tall with a few health issues sneaking in the back door. Meeting the demands of an hour long solo recital are starting to feel like a Triathalon. I purchased this tuba new for approximately $9500. This particular instrument is in great demand in the "tuba world" with up to a 3 - 6 month+  wait if the factory doesn't have any in stock. The wait for this one would be far less.
