John Oram is one of the legends in the industry in over 40 years going back to Vox amps in the 60´sTrident consoles etc. He has always been designing with the outmost sonic qualities in mind, and the BEQ series 24 is his best analog console design to this day. The console has a fantastic headroom, it is ultra quiet and it’s bandwidth exceeding 5-75khz widnes the incredible punch this console has. The 24 bus structure makes it very flexible to work on, both for recording and mix summing where the 24 busses can act as subgroups with upper channel faders. Apart from the analog beauty of the console, this is a 48 frame/32 channel custom version with JL-Cooper DAW control and computer screen mounted in the sweet spot right next to the master section.
