Description
I am offering my entire personal collection of 1,690 CD's that I have put together over the last 25 years of collecting. Description There are many different genres, including Rock, Country, Reggae, Jazz, Classical, Pop, New Age, Bluegrass, Soundtracks, Soul, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and many more dating from the beginnings of recorded music to present time. Database and Hyperlinks All CD’s have been professionally databased. The entire database can be sorted alphabetically according to title or artist. Individual words or names can also be word-searched. The front and back of each CD jewel case have been digitally photographed and can be accessed from within the database with its own hyperlink. I have constructed the database to make finding any CD in the collection quick and effortless. And when you find the CD you want in the database, the database tells you both the CD number and the box number. I currently keep the CD’s spine-up in single layers in custom-size, numbered boxes. Of course the CD’s could be put on shelves, but I’ve used them right from the boxes where access to them is already very easy. Condition The CD’s are generally in pretty good condition, and I believe that all play well. A large percentage has been played rarely or only once but some have been used extensively. The jewel cases are included but I estimate that about 3 or 4% of them are cracked or broken. A similar percentage are missing their jewel cases (at your request, I can provide additional empty jewel cases). Further Data I use Microsoft Access for the database but I will be happy to put the data in Excel, Word, or a text file if you prefer. I am asking $3,350, which is less than $2.00 per CD. I estimate shipping by US Media Mail is going to be about $150. I will charge the actual Post Office rate with no markup. If it is any more than my estimate here, I will pay the difference. PayPal is OK but I will offer a 5% discount if payment is made with a cashier’s check drawn on a national bank such as Bank of America or Wells Fargo. Local pickup of the collection is also welcome to save shipping.
